Bravo's Mexican Bistro

With all the heat in California at the moment, we felt that it was only appropriate to go to the beach, especially now with my new work schedule it really works out nicely. We went to Mission Beach and walked the boardwalk, but ended up in Ocean Beach to eat. We originally went for hamburgers, but it was insanely packed and ended up at Bravo's Mexican Bistro. It was airy which was nice with the heat, and the menu had a lot of choices. We started off our meal with Micheladas, which were so refreshing! Then came to ordering. I had an octopus and carne asada taco. The meat and great guacamole were a great compliment to the fresh tortilla. The octopus was topped with cheddar cheese and a mayonnaise sauce. The sauce was a great addition to the flavor of the grilled octopus. The cheddar cheese was bit much for my taste, but overall they were great tacos. Antonio ordered a carne asada burrito, it was great in size not too overwhelming like some taco shops. I would definately recommend this place as a spot for good mexican food, and also great micheladas for being the states.
