Yesterday we had an amazing lunch in Little Italy. We went to a new spot called Ilume. Everything that we ordered was incredible. I had the Falafel salad. Every bite had just the right amount of dressing, filled my mouth with amazing flavors. Antonio ordered the Paella. The seafood was outstanding. Antonio had a glass of Nebiolo, which was very food friendly, and I had a glass of Pinot Noir. They poured a nice amount in the glass, which made it worth the money. The dessert was so refreshing. We shared a Honeydew sorbet, which was on top of a piece of watermelon in a watermelon soup. The mint was a perfect pairing. It made all of the flavors come together, and helped round out its refreshing taste. This wonderful culinary experience ended with an espresso, and Antonio also had a gelato. Of course, I had to try a couple of bites. We will make a return to Ilume for sure, to experience other foods that their menu has to offer.
